Ciliated Tracts: The lateral bands present on the upper portion of a mesenterial filament, this band consisting of a mesogleal core and an epithelium consisting purely of flagellated cells (Stephenson, 1928: p.33). Ciliated tracts are in higher concentration closer to the actinopharynx.
